Year 9 – World of Work Day
The Year 9 - “World of Work” day took place to give students an insight into the world of work and different industries. The day was planned in February as a way to assist students in their future planning with regards to GCSE option choices.
We welcomed professionals from different industries to deliver sessions which were related to their industry. Following student feedback received from last year’s world of work day, we gave providers the brief to make sessions even more interactive and ‘hands on’.
On the day students would also find out about possible careers, how to be successful, which qualifications they would need and take part in an engaging activity.
