Cookery Club runs every Tuesday after school in the Technology Block with Mrs Greenfield and Mrs Crane. Every week students have the opportunity to cook healthy and exciting meals from scratch and take samples home to enjoy with their friends and family.  Why not join us?

Have some fun, make new friends and learn a valuable life skill!  If you don’t believe us, read what the students have to say about it.

I find cooking food exciting and fun as it is a really good experience to practice home economics. The food we have cooked has been amazing, especially the chilli and the cheesecake! Mrs Greenfield and Mrs Crane are really good teachers and everyone should get involved!    Megan Bradbury (Y7)

We all joined cooking club because it’s fun and we learn about healthy cooking and food portions. The teachers are lovely and so supportive!

Lauren Jones (Y7)

Every week we get to cook or bake something different. The demonstrations are so helpful and I enjoy it so much. It’s so kind and generous that the teachers give their time to help us. Codie Holgate (Y7)

There have been three groups of Cooking Club so far on every Tuesday after school as it has been such a popular club. It has been running for most of this year and each group has had 5 week sessions run by Mrs Greenfield and Mrs Crane. The first thing we made was shortbread and then Tasty Tikka Turkey Balls. Each week we alternate between sweet and savoury dishes. We love all the different healthy recipes. Milly Banner-Shaw (Y7)
