A Memorable Week at Jamie's Farm

From the week commencing 16th June, All Child had the pleasure of taking a group of our students on an enriching 4-day residential trip to Jamie’s Farm. Accompanied by Ms Wilson, the students embarked on a journey filled with learning, adventure, and personal growth.

Throughout their stay, the students engaged in a variety of hands-on activities that brought them closer to nature and taught them valuable life skills. On the farm they fed lambs, learning the importance of care and responsibility. In the kitchen, they honed their cooking skills, preparing delicious meals and understanding the joy of creating something from scratch. The students also took on the challenge of chopping wood, a task that not only built their physical strength but also their perseverance and teamwork. Caring for horses was another highlight, as they learned about their needs and behaviours. To top it all off, the group enjoyed invigorating hikes, exploring the beautiful countryside and appreciating the great outdoors. These hikes were not just about exercise but also mindfulness and connecting with nature.

Overall, the trip to Jamie’s Farm was a fantastic experience that left the students with unforgettable memories and newfound skills. We are incredibly proud of their achievements!
