At The Westleigh School, we are proud of our college model, designed to support students’ holistic development and sense of belonging. Every student is a valued member of one of our four colleges: Warburton, Drew-Baker, Wilkinson, and Hilton. Each college is led by a member of the Senior Leadership Team, who serves as Head of College, and is supported by a dedicated Director of Standards.

Our students take part in exciting weekly assemblies and competitions, with a strong focus on behaviour points and attendance, alongside our popular ‘Fun Fridays.’ The college system has been embraced wholeheartedly, fostering a strong sense of pride, identity, and community. Students eagerly anticipate the weekly points announcements, which further fuel their enthusiasm and commitment to their college.

Each college is named in honour of local heroes from the worlds of sport, music, literature, and academia, helping to inspire and motivate our students. Weekly rewards and incentives drive engagement, with highlights including our rewards shop, attendance celebrations, and student-voted college trips.

During form time, college staff and form tutors work closely with students to support their attendance, progress, and wellbeing. Through positive communication, targeted interventions, and strong family support networks, the college system has strengthened relationships and outcomes across the school.
