Great news for our Year 7 community! Our upcoming residential to Winmarleigh Hall in September has just become even more accessible. Thanks to a generous PGL grant, the cost has dropped from £230 to £165.

ParentPay has been updated, and anyone who has already paid the original amount will receive a refund for the difference. If your child hasn’t yet booked their place, there’s still time.

We are delighted to announce that new students joining Year 7 this September are invited to take part in a residential trip to Winmarleigh Hall.

The trip will take place from Monday 21st September to Wednesday 23rd September 2026 and offers a fantastic opportunity for students to settle in, build friendships, and ease any new starter anxieties.

By sharing meals and taking on challenges together, students will begin to form strong bonds and contribute to a more inclusive and supportive year group. Successfully completing activities also provides an early sense of achievement, helping to boost confidence and motivation as they begin their secondary school journey.

For many students, this trip represents an important first step towards the independence that high school life encourages.

We very much hope that all students will take part in this exciting opportunity and look forward to welcoming our new students and their parents and carers into the Westleigh family.
