GCSE Results Day – Thursday 20 August 2026

Students at The Westleigh School can collect their GCSE results from 9:00am. Parents and carers are welcome to attend.

Key Information

  • Results collection - Students may arrive from 9am and will be directed to the results desk.

  • Parents/carers attendance - Families are welcome to accompany students.

  • Alternative collection - If a student cannot attend, they must provide a signed letter naming the person collecting results on their behalf.

  • Photographic ID - The nominated person must bring valid photo identification.

Collecting Results on Behalf of a Student

To ensure results are released safely and securely:

  • Authorisation letter - The student must write and sign a letter clearly stating:

    • Their full name

    • The name of the person collecting the results

    • Permission for that person to collect on their behalf

  • Photo ID requirement - The nominated person must present photographic identification such as a passport or driving licence.
